Monitor all the purchase requisitions and Plan timely finalization as per the requirement / production schedule. Vendor development activities such as - discussions with prospective vendors and making visits to their works for assessment. Study purchase requirements / decide strategy of finalization. Commercial negotiations with the vendor. Ensure the vendor meets the technical requirements of the specifications. MIS reports required by top management. Streamline/ Improve procedure / Processes in the department in line with the requirement of TQM/ISO. Maintain material master & other required data for SAP. Make payment to the suppliers as per the fund allocation.
