We are looking for the following professionals for a US based MNC at Bangalore
Post: TECHNICAL WRITERS

No of Positions: 7


Responsibilities

Work closely with engineering team members on a daily basis to design features and complete user interface text and documentation in short, five-week engineering sprints
Document concepts and procedures in FrameMaker files
Single-source HTML from FrameMaker files using WebWorks Publisher
Fulfill roles as both a dedicated member of a company-wide documentation team and an integrated, co-located member of an engineering team that uses an "agile" (also known as eXtreme Programming) development process

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, English, or a related field
4-6 years of technical writing experience
Excellent writing skills, demonstrated through relevant writing samples
Proven ability to deliver high-quality documentation on schedule
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven engineering environment
Ability to learn and document technical concepts rapidly without the support of extensive written specifications by participating fully and enthusiastically in the design and development process, interviewing subject matter experts, attending all scheduled and impromptu team meetings, and installing and using local builds
Intermediate to advanced FrameMaker skills
Basic understanding of HTML
Experience writing documentation for web-based applications
