Sales Coordinator - Managing US and India Coordination
General responsibilities include:
Visit customers and collect information on customer needs. Communicate that information to the CSR in the Head Office in New York and receive a quote. Forward the quote to the customer and take follow up actions as necessary. Take calls from the customers about any issues and communicating them to New York office. Follow up on any pending Purchase Orders, any shipping or quality issues and any payment issues. Maintain a log of purchase orders from the day an RFQ was received to the day of Payment including any issues and prepare monthly reports. Visit customers often to maintain a good rapport.
In addition to the above responsibilities, this person will also have Administrative responsibilities. In this capacity, the person will be responsible for maintaining company files and managing the appointments, air travel, and hotel arrangements for the Senior Executive of the company as and when needed. This person will also be responsible for managing the office finances, maintaining a log of expenses, and forward the financial information to the Finance department at the head office and the company accountants/auditors in India. The work load will be approximately 70% customer service and 30% office administration.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Sciences
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
One to three years’ experience in an area dealing with customers or public. More qualified persons will also be considered.
Fluency in spoken and written English and good telephone conversation skills are required.
Knowledge of Kannada is a plus but not essential.
