The Client is an Engg Company with diversified interests.
They require a
Mechanical Engineer
Main Purpose Of Job
To Supervise and coordinate project work for his area of discipline in accordance with contract conditions, working within budget and time constraints to ensure customer satisfaction.
Job objectives
1. To supervise a team of draftsmen/cadd operators.

2. To study and interpret the construction specification and drawings, identify any design problems, conflicts and resolve the same.

3. To assist the construction site in all technical issues.

4. To prepare detailed fabrication drawings to aid execution.

5. To coordinate the material requirements.

6. To prepare test-packs to ensure completion of work and proper working of the installed system / equipment.

7. To maintain all documents in an organized manner for easy reference.

8. To conduct lifting studies to enable proper utilisation of heavy equipment.
Education, Skills and Experience
• Minimum ten years of experience in various fields such as design, materials and construction of Petroleum and Chemical projects.

• Familiarity with international codes viz ASTM, ASME, ANSI, API, BS, DIN etc.

• Conversant with all kinds of drawings namely P&ID, Plot plan, Piping layout, isometrics, structural steel, equipment drawings, etc.
