The client is a large player in engineering, construction, maintenance and multidiscipline contractor with diversified operations in the following sectors.

Equipment assistant superintendent
Main purpose of job
To maintain company equipment in good working condition in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and company procedures.
Job objectives
1.to undertake direct supervision on repairs and maintenance of equipment.

2.to request and follow up on spare parts to carry out necessary repairs and conduct inspections upon arrival, plan repairs as per the availability of spare parts to decrease down time.

3.to provide technical specifications to mechanics for repairs & adjustments as per manufacturers guidelines.

4.to coordinate workflow with other supervisors and inspection department to determine works priorities.

5.to prepare equipment according to requests from projects

6.to follow up warranty repairs with dealers

7.to conduct safety, housekeeping and tool box meetings for mechanics.

8.to undertake the inspection & testing of equipment and close work orders after repairs.

9.to report & provide feedback on repairs or/and all other related activities concerning equipment.
Education, skills and experience
Essential:

•industry safety regulation
•reading / understanding manuals
•communication skills
•supervisory skills
•4 to 6 years of work experience as a supervisor
