Airline Account Manager
My client, an internationally recognized airline company who operates one of the busiest in-flight catering kitchens in the Middle East, catering to over 105 airline customers on a 24 x 7 cycle, urgently requires a Airline (Catering) Account Manager.
Role:
To manage a set of airline customers on end-to-end catering services that encompass complete understanding of customer expectations, servicing standards, service level agreements and to act as a management interface between the external customer and internal teams to follow-up, control and close all the issues or concerns while maintaining clear line of sight in achieving customer satisfaction and company targets.
Responsibilities:
The Airline Account Manager ensures that the airlines customers’ catering and service requirements are provided to the highest standards, in the most timely and efficient manner. Also, the job holder is required to manage the diverse group of customers through customized offering to ensure that their customers are provided with the highest standards of service, in a timely and efficient manner. He or she also introduces improvements that could be made in the service, equipment and menus in line with the demand of the clients and the local Civil Aviation. The jobholder conducts monthly meetings with Airlines In-flight Services Department, discusses operational issues & difficulties and ensures that necessary action is taken to improve quality of services rendered to Airlines. The jobholder meets company clients, Airport Officials and other visitors as and when required to the best interest of the company and discusses the service requirements, comments (both adverse and favorable) and assists them whenever required. The jobholder ensures the clear line of communication is maintained between all department heads.
Requirements:
Candidate should have a graduate degree in Catering/Hotel management or any hospitality segment.
Minimum 7 years of total experience of which at least 3 years in airline catering and customer servicing function.
Candidate should be fluent in English and should possess excellent communication skills and should demonstrate proven ability in customer relationship management.
Remuneration:
The salary and benefits package offered is circa US$4,000 per month which is TAX FREE.
