Estate Manager

Responsibilities

• Preparing the annual business plan for the management of the company’s estate including all Operating expenditure & Capital expenditure.
• Ensure and maintain clear title on all land.
• Seek to regain land where encroachment has occurred.
• Prevent further encroachment, including ensuring that the appropriate security measures are undertaken.
• Maintain accurate records of the company’s land holding and supporting legal documentation.
• Acquire land for the Co’s developments in a timely, sensitive and fair manner, including the appropriate CSR programs for the affected parties.
• Obtain and keep up to date all way leaves.
• Ensure the highest standards of environmental management of the estate.
• Liaise with all statutory bodies such as the BMC, MBPT etc.
• Pay all property taxes in a timely manner.
• Seek to enhance the financial returns the company makes from its estate.
• Protect and enhance the value of the estate.
• Ensure the highest standards of ethics and probity in all transactions.
• Control, develop and motivate the staff, maintaining a succession plan.
• Maintain a Risk Register and put in place plans to reduce or eliminate any risks the Co. faces in relation to its estates.
• Manage all external resources in a cost effective manner.


• Candidate must possess a management degree from a reputed institute with a first class.
• The applicant must have 12 to 18 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• The candidate must display strategic capability & business acumen.
The candidate must be effective in dealing with ambiguity & withstanding pressure.
• The candidate must display drive for results, timely decision making & interpersonal effectiveness
• The applicant must take ownership and be customer focused
• The applicant must be good at innovation mgmt & building effective teams
